ARROW's New BannerSo, after a volley of great comments here's my latest shot at the banner. What do you all think of this one? ![]() I agree with Jeff. It's a sign not a banner. First, I think we need to decide what the banner is for. This design is fine for the fence at Signal Hill during Field Day, but wouldn't work for carrying in the 4th of July parade. A "banner", almost by definition is long and skinny, not square. Depending on the finished size, it might hang on the side of the trailer OK, but it might be overpowering. |
I agree with Jeff. It's at least two banners. One has the logo on the left with our 'slogan' (see catchy phrase below fuzzy line) on the right, with our web address in smaller print below it. Slogan needs catchy 'since 19XX' added to end to indicate how long we've been doing this.
Smudged lines are OK, too. Probably smaller than now and only under the 'slogan' part.
I may not be fast at it, but I CAN read/write CW.
ANYTHING ELSE belongs on a separate banner. It's that simple, folks. Now how about showing us what that would look like, Dan?
